What is Ozempic?

  • Semaglutide is a glucagon-like-peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor antagonist, which enhances the production of insulin by the pancreas (a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels).

  • By this mechanism, GLP-1 peptides have been shown to promote cardiovascular function, reduce blood sugar, delay gastric emptying, and suppress apatite .

  • It is currently an FDA approved treatment for chronic weight management in adults as well as the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes.

  • It is NOT a form of insulin.

Pricing

  • Our pricing varies based on services/treatment rendered including in-office, remote/telemedicine, and concierge services.

  • Semaglutide treatments vary in price depending on dosage, strength, and type of formulation. Patients can expect to pay an average between $98.00 - $175.00 a week which covers all standard services including initial consultation and personal compound formulation (supplies and shipping will be included in final price, if applicable).

  • Additional consultations and administrations will be charged separately.
